The Fusion uses three tube stages as the active elements. Using tubes in the equalizer brings a warmth to the sound that compliments the already wide ranging and useful response. To further enhance the equalizer range we have added voicing filters on each section activated by pushing the control changing the color from white to blue.

Fusion combos operate from 100V to 240V, 50/60Hz mains, so you can take them anywhere in the world and simply plug in. No converters or special supplies required.

Status indicators tell you if there is a shorted output (oc) or over heated (ot) condition. Also, the standby indicator (stby) shows white when the power is off indicating the mains supply is good. If the input is overdriven the indicator on the trim knob will flash red.

Fusion combos come with a complete patch bay. The balanced DI has selectable Pre/Post and ground lift switches. Phones and Aux In are 1/8” jacks to accommodate the most common jacks used for these features. Tuner, Footswitch, Send and Return are all ¼” to better accommodate these connections.

We have avoided putting a sound effect into the amplifier that may be out of style next year. Instead we use two tube stages set up like the input stage of a tube power amp. So when it is hit hard you get a breakup similar to a tube power amp. We have added body and edge controls to help you shape the sound to your situation.

To get the best match between your instrument and the Fusion we have included an adjustable input trim control. When this is adjusted so the clip light only flashes occasionally you have the perfect setup for your instrument. In addition two distinct amplifier voices can be selected by pressing the trim control (white is classic and blue is modern).
Fusion Speakers

Die cast frames are used exclusively delivering greater durability and power handling than the cheaper and more common stamped frame designs.

Our voice coils utilize edge wound aluminum ribbon wire which compared to the more common round wire makes a speaker that is far more efficient with greater power handling.

A compression driver top end solution is far more complex than a simple piezo tweeter. Compression drivers require a real crossover and a system to protect the horn from excessive power bursts. Fusion combos use the same three pole crossover and fast acting protection system found in our Neo Cabinet line.
Technology
The Fusion combos use an interconnection system made with gold on gold connectors in concert with multilayer circuit boards instead of wires with crimped on, tin connectors. Gold connectors will never corrode, and the multilayer circuit board provides complete shielding from outside interference. The result is a dependable long-lasting noise free connection that will never put you in the shop.

Fusion combos are cooled using two fans that are temperature controlled. At low temperatures the fans are off, as the amplifier temperature rises the fans come on slowly and run faster the warmer the amplifier gets. Under normal operation the fans may not come on. This type of fan control is more expensive but minimizes noise and dust intake while maintaining the proper operating temperature inside the amplifier.

Fusion combos use the latest available digital power amps with switch-mode supplies. These deliver a punchy driving sound at a fraction of the weight and power consumption of analogue power systems. They are safe down to two Ohms and operate from 100V to 240V mains.

Fusion combos use light weight plywood construction with ample bracing to make a stiff box. The inside of the cabinet is covered with damping material to absorb high frequencies from the rear of the speaker. This prevents them from coming out the port and interfering with the high frequencies from the front of the speaker. The result is a smooth and pleasing high end response.

A metal grill and ultra-tough cabinet coating finished with metal corners, ensure a long-lasting enclosure that will maintain its good looks over time.
