From the age of 3, performing has been a constant presence in Andre “MoDre” Brown’s life. Influenced heavily by his mother’s sister Yvonne, he learned to play multiple instruments first hand by watching her play live bass and drums. Recognizing his talent at a young age, she eagerly shared her knowledge of music through mentorship and guidance. As a young man he was sometimes unable to adequately express himself with words so “MoDre” began to expressed his resounding passion through playing in church as well as participating in different fine arts programs throughout grade school and middle school. “All the things I was invested in were building me up and preparing me for what I wanted to do” he’s said.
Forever grateful, “MoDre” does not fail to acknowledge the impact his aunts mentorship has had on his career and life. Originally from Schenectady, New York, “MoDre” attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and was one of 10 recipients from around the world of the prestigious “Berklee College Of Music Presidential Scholarship”. While at Berklee he studied contemporary writing and production. When an opportunity to expand his music production and creative growth presented itself, the young bassist and composer Andre “MoDre” Brown moved to Atlanta, GA in 2010. This change in scenery played an integral part in the creative talent he has come to embrace and nurture. Since moving to the South, he continues to be the recipient of abounding blessings.
 
Andre “MoDre” Brown has become one of the most sought after music directors in the industry. He has performed with an “A” list of your favorite artists including TLC at VH1’s 2013 Mixtape Festival and global tours with Deitrick Haddon, Flo Rida, 2 Chainz, Angie Stone, Benzino and an extensive list of others. This phenomenal bass player is rightfully taking full advantage of the breaks that are being presented. As a multi-instrumentalist, honing his craft through bass, drums, keyboard, music production and vocals, “MoDre” has positioned himself as a man of many talents and ideas.

Over the past 2 years Andre “MoDre” Brown has been living his dream and accomplishing multiple life goals including a recent, rousing appearance on The Today Show with Jenifer Lopez & Lin Manuel and just this past week an amazing appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live with Jidenna. He has also made appearances on the BET Hip Hop Awards with P Diddy and The Family, MTV Artist To Watch and MTV Woodie Awards both with Raury and Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Season 1 - Episode “7” Therapy. “MoDre” served as Music Director for Maxwell’s Summer Soulstice Tour with Kevin Ross in 2014, Raury’s Laneway Australian Tour in 2014 and Raw for the Oceans European Tour in 2015.
 
As one of the most sought after talents in the industry, Andre “MoDre” Brown has worked with a who’s, who of Entertainment Companies on various projects including Sony, Epic, Motown, BET, IHEART Radio, The Apollo Theatre, SXSW, BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, Vevo, Spotify, TV One, VH1, Pandora, NBC and ABC.

When not on tour you can find “MoDre” playing bass with his band appropriately titled “Band of Brothers”. He is also the CEO of Classic Music LLC, a company which prides itself in providing up and coming professional musician with the tools, knowledge and a platform necessary to maintain a long term career in the music industry.
